Epithalon peptide

Epithalon peptide

Epithalon is a tetrapeptide, meaning that it is comprised of four amino acids. It is occasionally referred to by Epitalon or Epithalone. It has a molecular weight of 390.3459, and its molecular formula is C14H22N4O9.

Epithalon and Telomeres

According to scientific study that has been conducted on animal test subjects, the key to Epitalon’s overall functionality is its link to telomeres; repeating DNA sequences that are made of a quartet of nucleic acids. These acids are located at the ends of chromatids; copies of a duplicated chromosome that is key for the process of cellular nuclear division. In essence, telomeres work to regulate the length and the integrity of the genetic information located within the DNA sequence. It accomplishes this act of regulation by triggering the production of telomerase; an enzyme that determines the length of telomeres in DNA streams. However, telomeres organically experience degradation over time via cell division, which in turn causes a weakening of the genetic code held within each new cell.
Epithalon functions to replenish the level of telomerase that is produced within each new cell as it divides. This allows for the telomeres in the new cells to retain a stronger sense of genetic integrity. Additionally, scientific study based on animal test subjects has determined that the peptide enables an overall extension of the cell reproduction process.
Epithalon and the Aging Process
Because of Epithalon’s functionality and how it relates to the preservation of a cell’s genetic code, scientific study based on animal test subjects has been primarily structured around its theoretical role in the slowing down of the aging process.
It has been determined that as telomerase levels decrease and telomeres shorten, the DNA sequence that is found within a cellular unit becomes weakened. Eventually, the telomeres get to the point where they essentially unravel; when this occurs, the genetic information that it contains gets compromised, which in turn causes the aging process to advance in animal test subjects.
Additionally, scientific study has been able to link this unraveling process to the following conditions that are traditionally associated with aging on some level:
  • Heart disease
  • Stroke
  • Cancer
  • A weakening of the immune system
  • Poor mental function, up to and including dementia
Scientific study on animal test subjects has determined that Epithalon’s ability to replenish telomerase on a cellular level enables the telomeres to retain a more consistent level of strength over a longer period of time. This in turn enables the genetic code to retain an extended level of homeostasis, which would then allow for the code to be internally deciphered in a proper manner. This extension of homeostasis has led to the theory that thepeptide can not only slow down the effects of aging, but it can also be used to lessen the probability of certain diseases that are somewhat tied to the overall aging process.

Epithalon and Weight Gain

Another theoretical benefit that has been determined concerning Epithalon is its potential ability to regulate weight within an animal test subject. In addition to promoting the aging process, an unraveled DNA sequence will cause an animal test subject to experience a weakening of its overall regulatory processes. One of the more significant processes thought to be lessened relates to weight, as it is theorized that the weakening of the genetic code causes an increased storage of body fat to occur. Yet because of Epithalon’s regulatory processes relating to the DNA sequence, it is theorized that this process can provide an animal test subject with a stronger level of homeostasis when it comes to the storage of fat cells and weight gain.

Other Theoretical Benefits

Epithalon’s inherent properties as they relate to telomere preservation have caused scientific study to derive several other theoretical benefits in relation to the peptide. According to study based on animal test subjects, these benefits include a boost in physical energy, an improvement of deep sleep, improved flexibility, an elevated resistance from infectious diseases, and improved vision. Scientific study on animal test subjects has also determined that the peptide’s presence is not marked by any significant negative side effects.
